Unless you are one of the few people capable of fixing EVERYTHING in a home renovation, one of the biggest troubles most people have with their homes is finding qualified and dependable trades to work on their homes. Most renovations will include anywhere from 3 to over a dozen contractors. Flooring. Finish carpentry. Drywall (board, taper, sander). Painting. Staining and lacquer. Framer (basement development, garages, or bigger reno projects). Electrical. Plumber. To name just a few.

The wrong trade can both delay the entire project (for weeks, sometimes months), have security concerns, or might do things wrong. Can you imagine your horror to complete a renovation, only to discover that the framing was wrong on the addition, meaning EVERYTHING would need to start from scratch again? Ouch.
